The Life of Shaииoи

Well, another month (and a bit) passes where I’ve totally neglected my blog, Whats new really? Not a lot!

Life, well life is life, Working hard to earn some cash, 6 weeks in at Jaycar and so far and I have to say im enjoying it heaps, there are a few annoyances here and there but you get that with every job I guess. The guys I’m currently working with are pretty easy going and good to have a chat with, which makes things much easier and makes the day go by that little bit faster plus the fact that work is about a 10 minute walk away, mostly up hill, and is helping me lose some pounds .

I’ve been attempting to save money (again haha) with little success again, bills and needless spending start to add up after a while, well, um mostly needless spending more than anything, but I’m getting there. Looking towards renting somewhere eventually, and giving my beloved CD/DVD/Game collections a new home (man I miss my CD wall ). But for the most part things are moving along nicely after a few rough patches, starting a new life is hard after all, but will be all worth it in the end

Well thats all for now, I’ll update some more hopefully in the near future.

Feeling pretty good right now .

Well its been just over a month 2 months since my last post, alot has happened in this time, mostly bad, but some great things did make there way into the mix… *cough Linkin Park cough*

Linkin Park was needless to say FUCKING AWESOME, our seats were just awesome, not that we used them much . Chris Cornell opened and sang an assortment of Audioslave and Soundgarden songs, along with some of his own songs, he was pretty damned good. Once Linkin Park took the stage we were on our feet from the time the first song started to the end of the show, singing along and screaming like little school girls, we walked out with no voices and my ears didn’t stop ringing until 2 days later :D. I’d have to say my highlight was hearing Crawling and Numb live, in person Was so worth it and after waiting since the first time I heard Crawling on MTV to see them live in concert I have to say I wasn’t disappointed, like really how could you be disappointed? If they ever tour Australia again I’ll be hitting every show I swear!

Back to the real world for a moment *stupid world you go squish now*….

A whole heap of annoying family shit happened just before the LP concert, so now we have sorta relocated, won’t go into much detail about that though. Been looking for work pretty hardcore, ended up landing 2 Interviews, one was a total flop, the other (until 10:24am this morning) was looking really promising, but I should find out about that hopefully by the end of today or next week. Should be a sweet job if I get it, 5minutes walk up the road, good company what more could you ask for?

Anyway until I find out about this job, I’m gonna listen to alot of loud music and shoot some annoying little tards.

LINKIN PARK TOMORROW WOOOOO….

Now that I have that out of the way, Ive finished the Orange Box, HAHA people who pre-ordered it retail are suckers . Portal was great fun but a little too short, and HL2 EP2 OMFG the ending :O . Been playing HEAPS of Team Fortress 2 lately, really enjoying it, the rendering style + the Scouts baseball bat = Full of Win…

Photography wise, Ive been playing around with Macros  of just general stuff like flowers and various computer parts, I’m looking into getting a 28-135 Canon EF lense as just a walk around lense hopefully sometime in the near future as I’m sort of limited in what I want to do with the stock 18-55mm. I might be getting a tripod + head for xmas which should be nice and sweet…

Work… Is… The usual, ill have a post with some stuff about that soon…

But now I guess I should get back to work, been here for 1/2 an hour and Ive done nothing…

Another Friday without being paid…

I’m sure I don’t want to do anything on a Friday night, I work hard, I should be paid on time.Don’t you agree? I mean we made an agreement that I would be paid on a Thursday, Ive kept my end of this agreement by working everyday, why Is it so hard to pay me?

At 10am I might be tempted call a Strike of the “Shannon Likes being Paid” Union…

Theres a WHOLE lot more to this story but I think thats somewhere I shouldn’t go….

YAY for escaping to Queensland Tomorrow. No work for 5 days, Nice and warm, 1 billion places to take photos. Were driving up so my PSP is loaded with music and Ghost in the Shell EPS, and GAMES, to occupy me on the way up, DS is charged and waiting… Hopefully with both of them fully charged ill have the 10 hrs drive covered!

In other news….. TF2 BETA OMFG…. all I can say is…. , I SO can’t wait until October for it to come out.

Anyway I’ll probably make a post when I get settled in up in Queensland.

I probably should blog something considerable, but really can’t be arsed at the moment.

Went to the Drags at WSID on Saturday they were pretty sweet as usual, I’ll have a post about them… like… Tomorrow I guess. I gave my 400D a fairly good run taking about 350 photos in total, most came out pretty good. Gave me a real chance to get to know the settings and things alot better.

FragFest SpringLAN is this Saturday, really looking forward to catching up with some gaming buddies this weekend, plus its another decent photo op , and a chance to play some games I haven’t played in months.

Spose I should crash now, work tomorrow… Joy again…

Today I FINALLY picked up a DSLR Camera, and after 4 months of waiting and saving its finally mine! I ended up picking the Canon EOS400D with 18-55mm and 75-300mm Twin Lens kit and a 2GB SanDisk Extreme III CF Card, all for a nice round price . I’m looking forward to taking it out and getting some snaps tomorrow and also to improving my Photography Skills over time.

I’ll have some Snaps up in the near future (when I get some time to get my head around everything and some spare time! >.<).

Day off tomorrow woot, time to catch up on some sleep and get some stuff I’ve been procrastinating about for the last 3 weeks done.

I FINALLY got a new bed :D, just gotta put the sucker together and ill be sleeping sweet again can’t wait.

I’ll also will have time to go do some shopping for much needed COLOURED clothing, since people have been on my back giving me shit about it for months… Yeah Yeah shut up about the black already, probably will head to JB HI-FI and pick up some CD’s since I didn’t get a chance last Thursday night, Music = Win, can never have enough of it I think .

Then TNX time up the park for some much needed stress relief (and crazy jumps, cause well I can), If I get a chance I’ll make some Videos and YouTube them.

Well to everyone thats working, take it easy and don’t work too hard, I sure as hell wont >.<.

…. What more can I say? I need a new job, Why I started back here I honestly don’t know. Things are just as bad or Worse than before, OK yeah I’m not stressed out like I was, but other things are starting to get worse and worse by the day.

I’m being pushed more and more to sell new computers, being put down when I don’t make a sale, its like school yard bullying in here at times, the Boss and other Staff Constantly second guessing my Work and Technical ability, What I went through TAFE for nothing? And My Experience counts for nothing? Am I supposed to read minds?

I Honestly did thing that things might have changed, but yet again I was wrong. My Boss seams more inclined to play some stupid Web MMORPG than actually do any work or serve customers.

What the hell? According to our little motivational sign “Customers are our world”, and are our most important asset , but somehow I don’t think this means anything to him, Not returning phone calls, not bothering to remember service calls.

To add to it all, Dodging the “XP Question” is becoming very very annoying…

Looks like I’ll be job hunting again…. Wish me Luck….
